Nameservers
To connect your domain to your Ultra Web Hosting account, you need to update the nameservers at your domain registrar. This tells the internet where to find your website and email.
Ultra Web Hosting Nameservers
Point your domain to the following nameservers:
ns1.ultranameservers.com
ns2.ultranameservers.com
ns3.ultranameservers.com
How to Update Nameservers
The process varies slightly depending on your domain registrar. Below are instructions for the most popular registrars.
GoDaddy
- Log into your GoDaddy account.
- Go to My Products and find your domain.
- Click DNS or Manage DNS next to the domain.
- Scroll down to the Nameservers section and click Change.
- Select Enter my own nameservers (advanced).
- Enter
ns1.ultranameservers.com,ns2.ultranameservers.com, andns3.ultranameservers.com. - Click Save and confirm the change.

- Enter
ns1.ultranameservers.com,ns2.ultranameservers.com, andns3.ultranameservers.com. - Click the green checkmark to save.
Google Domains / Squarespace
- Log into your Squarespace Domains account (formerly Google Domains).
- Select your domain.
- Go to DNS in the left sidebar.
- Click Custom name servers.

ns1.ultranameservers.com,ns2.ultranameservers.com, andns3.ultranameservers.com. - Click Save.
Cloudflare
If your domain is registered through Cloudflare, note that Cloudflare acts as both registrar and DNS provider. To use Ultra Web Hosting's nameservers instead of Cloudflare's:
- Log into your Cloudflare dashboard.
- Select your domain.
- Go to DNS → Records.
- Instead of changing nameservers (which Cloudflare requires to be their own), add an A record pointing your domain to your hosting server's IP address, and set the proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud).
Other Registrars
The general process is the same at any registrar:
- Log into your domain registrar's control panel.
- Find the domain management or DNS settings page.
- Look for a "Nameservers" option.
- Switch from the default nameservers to custom nameservers.
- Enter
ns1.ultranameservers.com,ns2.ultranameservers.com, andns3.ultranameservers.com. - Save the changes.
Propagation Time
After updating your nameservers, the change needs to propagate across the internet. This typically takes:
- 1-4 hours for most locations.
- Up to 48 hours in some cases, depending on your previous DNS provider's TTL settings and regional DNS caches.
During propagation, some visitors may see your old site while others see the new one. This is normal.
You can check propagation status using whatsmydns.net by looking up the NS record for your domain.
