Accessing cPanel and Webmail

There are several ways to reach your hosting control panel and webmail. The Client Area gives you one-click access without typing your cPanel password; direct URLs work if you prefer to log in straight at the server.

The Fastest Way: One-Click from the Client Area

If you log in at my.ultrawebhosting.com, you can reach cPanel or Webmail in a single click without ever typing your cPanel password.

If you have one hosting service

  1. Log into the Client Area.
  2. On the dashboard, click the Open cPanel or Webmail quick-action tile.
  3. You will land directly inside cPanel (logged in automatically) or at the Webmail login page for your domain.

If you have more than one hosting service

  1. Log into the Client Area.
  2. Click Open cPanel or Webmail on the dashboard, or go to ServicesMy Services.
  3. Each active service row has a cPanel and a Webmail button. Click the one you want for the service you want.
Tip The Client Area route is the most secure because it does not require storing your cPanel password in your browser. Single sign-on creates a one-time login token for each click.

Direct URL: cPanel

If you want to log in directly at the server with your cPanel username and password, use your domain name with port 2083:

https://yourdomain.com:2083

Use the username and password from your welcome email. If you have forgotten your cPanel password, see below.

Direct URL: Webmail

Webmail is the easiest way to read and send mail without configuring a desktop client. Three URL options work:

Log in with your full email address (for example you@yourdomain.com) and the password you set when creating that email account.

Note cPanel and Webmail use a self-signed SSL certificate when accessed by port (2083 or 2096). Your browser may show a security warning the first time. This is normal. Accessing via /webmail on your own domain uses your domain's regular SSL certificate and avoids the warning.

If Your DNS Has Not Propagated Yet

Right after signup, or right after pointing a new domain at our nameservers, DNS may not have propagated to your network yet. Use the server hostname from your welcome email instead:

https://server.ultrawebhosting.com:2083

The Client Area one-click method also works in this case, because the Client Area connects to the server directly, not by domain name.

Forgot Your cPanel Password?

You can set a new cPanel password from the Client Area:

  1. Log into the Client Area.
  2. Go to ServicesMy Services → click your hosting plan.
  3. Click Change Password in the sidebar to set a new cPanel password.

Email account passwords (for Webmail) are set inside cPanel under Email Accounts. They are separate from your cPanel login password.

Can't Connect at All?

If neither one-click nor direct URLs work, your IP address may be blocked by the server firewall. See Firewall Blocks & Connection Issues.
