Ultra Web Hosting Docs

Using Webmail

Webmail lets you read, compose, and manage email directly in your browser — no desktop software required. Ultra Web Hosting provides Roundcube as the default webmail application.

Accessing Webmail

There are two ways to open webmail:

Option 1: Direct URL

Open your browser and go to:

https://yourdomain.com:2096

Log in with your full email address (e.g. you@yourdomain.com) and your email password.

Option 2: From cPanel

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. Go to Email Accounts.
  3. Find the email account and click Check Email.
  4. Roundcube will open automatically in a new tab.
Note Port 2096 uses an SSL connection. Your browser may show a certificate warning if your domain does not have a valid SSL certificate installed. This is safe to proceed through.

Roundcube Overview

Roundcube is a modern, full-featured webmail client. Here is a quick tour of the interface:

Setting Up an Email Signature

  1. In Roundcube, click Settings in the top navigation.
  2. Select Identities from the left menu.
  3. Click your email address to edit the default identity.
  4. In the Signature text area, type your signature. Toggle the HTML signature checkbox if you want to use formatting.
  5. Click Save.

Setting Up an Auto-Reply (Vacation Message)

  1. In Roundcube, go to SettingsFilters.
  2. Click Vacation (or create a new filter with the "Vacation" action).
  3. Enter the subject and body of your auto-reply message.
  4. Set the interval (how often the same sender receives the auto-reply).
  5. Enable the filter and click Save.
Tip You can also set up auto-responders from cPanel under EmailAutoresponders, which gives you date-based start and stop scheduling.

Managing Folders

  1. In Roundcube, go to SettingsFolders.
  2. Click the + icon at the bottom to create a new folder.
  3. Give the folder a name and choose a parent folder if you want to nest it.
  4. Click Save.

To move messages into a folder, select them in your Inbox and drag them to the target folder, or right-click and choose Move to.

Searching Your Mailbox

Use the search bar at the top of the message list. You can search by sender, subject, or full message body. Click the dropdown arrow next to the search box to choose which fields to search and which folder to search in.
